P3 operates at the cutting edge of sport as leading experts in the field of athlete development. Based on data uncovered through rigorous observation. P3 synthesis this information in to a bespoke action plan designed to enable the athlete to reach their peak performance.
This project is a constantly expanding exploration in to the human body, using science and innovation to enable transformation of the worlds elite athletes.
2006: Peak Performance Project
Founded in 2006 by Harvard-Trained Physician, Dr. Marcus Elliott, P3 is the first performance facility to use advanced sports science technology to assess and train professional athletes.
2007: Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz begin sending players to P3 with the goal of better understanding player athletic needs and to create more effective individual training plans.
2009: Major League Baseball
P3's Dr. Marcus Elliott becomes first ever Director of Sports Science in Major League Baseball with the Seattle Mariners. P3 implements a model that includes force plate assessments and the development of individual training needs and plans for every player in the minor league system.
2012: 3D Motion Capture
P3 installs 3D Motion Capture to integrate with dual-force plate system to precisely evaluate elite athlete kinetics and kinematics.
2012: NBA Pre-Draft
In 2012, P3 decides to start a pre-draft camp for future NBA athletes. This exposes high-level players to data-driven training and NBA teams the results of our efforts.
2015: ADIDAS PARTNERSHIP
P3 begins a multi-year partnership with Adidas to support icon athletes and innovate. P3 identifies James Harden's super power.
2015: Blueprint
In collaboration with Adidas, P3 develops a blueprint camp - the first elite basketball camp that does not involve a basketball. The camp focuses on developing physical development blueprints for elite players. Attendees have included - Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, Darius Garland, Cam Reddish, PJ Washington, Gary Trent Jr. Wendell Carter. Players are compared to NBA norms and provided with customized training to optimize future development.
2015: Korver All Star
A P3 athlete since 2008, Kyle Korver makes his first all star game at the age of 34 - as testament to his consistency and commitment to data-driven, individualized training. Athlete longevity remains a focus at P3.
2015: Duke Basketball
Duke Basketball becomes the first college team to begin sending players to P3 for assessment, reporting and feedback compared to NBA comps.
2016: NBA Teams Have Championship Success Following P3 Models

P3 begins working with the USA Jr. National team - providing 3D Motion Capture Assessments at the Olympic Training Center and strength and conditioning in advance of international competition
2018: P3 Atlanta
P3 opens second location in Atlanta at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex. The facility provides our NBA players with access to the Atlanta Hawk's practice courts and allows for collaboration with the experts at Emory Sports Medicine.
2018: German National Team

2020: Marcus Elliott Returns to Harvard
